When I started writing Robinson’s Weblog #012: Poor Poor Common Core Part One: What's All The Hullabaloo About?, which is about the controversy sparked by the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), I was going to outline the public concerns over these new standards. But I ended up taking it in different direction and instead, I wrote about the importance of preparing our students for informed, participatory citizenship as adults. Not quite as exciting, right? I know. I know.
